Red Mountain Guitars Warranty Policy


Satisfaction Guarantee

At purchase and initial delivery, Red Mountain Guitars guarantees full satisfaction with the delivered guitar. Your guitar, whether delivered in person or by shipping, should be examined carefully and played to allow determination of your level of satisfaction. If, within 48 hours, you are not completely satisfied with your guitar, you should contact me to express your concerns. After our discussion of your concerns, I will offer to make changes to your guitar to remedy the matter, or offer a refund, at my discretion. If you wish to return the guitar for a refund, 70% of the purchase price will be refunded upon the safe, undamaged return of the guitar to Red Mountain Guitars, and an additional 20% of the purchase price will be refunded when the guitar is resold. Refunds may not be available if custom features of the guitar, such as the purchaser’s name inlayed into the fret board, preclude resale.


Red Mountain Guitars Warranty Policy

Red Mountain Guitars warrants (only to the original purchaser of a guitar) that the instrument shall be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns the guitar and until the ownership is transferred to another. This Warranty may not be transferred or assigned to subsequent owners. This Warranty covers the cost of material and labor on any repair deemed necessary by Red Mountain Guitars under this Warranty policy.

This Limited Warranty does not apply: (a) to wear or breakage of frets, tuners, machine heads, pick guards or strings or to other normal wear and tear of the instrument; (b) to asserted defects caused by modification, misuse or abuse or improper maintenance of the instrument; (c) to asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgments, such as tone, loudness, etc.; (d) to asserted defects caused by accident or exposure to extremes of temperature or humidity which cause harm to the guitar; (e) to cracking, discoloration or damage of any sort to the finish for any reason; (f) to electrical components not manufactured by Red Mountain Guitars; (g) or to shipping damages of any kind. This is the sole Warranty of Red Mountain Guitars. No other written or oral Warranty applies.

The obligations of Red Mountain Guitars under this Limited Warranty are limited to repair and/or replacement of parts of the instrument found to be defective. Red Mountain Guitars will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to time or wages lost, or lost profits of any nature or kind, or for damages to or loss of property.

Claim Procedure: the original owner must return the guitar, shipping and insurance prepaid by the owner, to Norman Urmy at Red Mountain Guitars with a brief written description of the nature of the asserted defects and with evidence confirming the original purchase by the purchaser such as Bill of Sale or cancelled check. Please call Norman Urmy prior to shipping the guitar. Red Mountain Guitars will review the description of the asserted defects, examine the guitar and make service, repairs and replacements as appropriate under the terms of this Limited Warranty. Upon completion of the service, the instrument shall be returned to the original purchaser, shipping and insurance to be paid by the purchaser. In the event that it is determined that the asserted defect is not covered by or is excluded from this Limited Warranty, the instrument shall be returned without repairs or replacement, shipping and insurance to be paid by the purchaser.
